Sinopsis
Journey up China's Yellow River, back to its rumored source: the Xingxiu Hai lake. Long renowned for the starry, moonlit reflections that form on the water's motionless surface, the sight has been an inspiration since ancient times. Our journey starts in Yinchuan, China, where the Xixia dynasty once flourished, and continues past the magnificent Yellow River Stone Forest, the soaring terraced fields, and the sacred Anyemaqen Mountains. There are also many people, such as Tibetans, who live in the harsh landscape along the river. Access to the many of the river's headstream sections is limited, but this Japan-China co-production was granted special access to film the beauty along the Yellow River with multicopters and other special recording techniques.
